This is mainly for a friend of mine who has been working on a ButterKnives deck for a little while.
I'm not even sure if it would be considered ButterKnives, but that's irrelevant.

Here's the decklist as it stands:

Critters:
4 Hypnotic Specter
4 Phyrexian Negator
4 Phyrexian Scuta

Disruption:
4 Duress
4 Hymn To Tourach

Burn:
4 Lightning Bolt
2 Incinerate
2 Fire/Ice

Restricted Stuff:
1 Wheel Of Fortune
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Timetwister
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Mind Twist
1 Yawgmoth's Will

Mana:
4 Dark Ritual
1 Black Lotus

1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Jet
2 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
3 Mishra's Factory
3 City of Brass
4 Badlands
1 Sulforous Springs
4 Underground Sea

He doesn't own a Sapphire or Walk, that's why they're not in here.

My take on it:
First off, I would remove the Mishra's Factories for more colored mana sources, although the deck has been dieing to The Abyss a lot.
I was also thinking of testing Fleshreavers in the place of the Scutas.

To be completely honest, I have no idea which direction to take this deck in without scrapping it and building rOSE.

Try taking a look at Green Knight's Juzam Fire deck a little futher down.

Otherwise I think I deck with B/G/u (Adding Pernicious Deed and a Spritmonger or two) is the best way to go with this sort of thing.

My BF will kill me for saying this but multicolor butter knives / void really isn't that good. Sligh kills you and so does Suicide Black if they get off the first LD spell. An agressive deck is best mono color. Makes it faster and more consistant. You don't need a timely wasteland placing a stop to your creature assault.

Why not play mono black?

Way more consistant.

I believe (IMHO) that the consistancy in the mana ect, is well worth the trade of occasional brokeness of multicolor.
