Do you have enough things to kill people with? I always felt that Funker could be a little threat light at times. Taking out some of those threats doesn't seem to be the answer.

Fireball? Blood Moon? Regrowth in the sb? Only one Mox Monkey main?

Fireball??

Please post your decklists with a readable format and a logical order, especially since Type I decklists can degenerate into long, confusing lists of restricted cards.

it would be a lot easier to make comments if I didn't have to look at the list 5 times to get an idea of what's in there.

As "the guy who made the deck" I really agree more threats are needed. I like 3 'cores in the main since they help so much vs Aggro. What is your local metagame like? Since my local area has turned to more control/keeper I've thought of using Negator to add more threats. While it doesn't fit in the artifact theme of the deck it adds a new level to the threats.

I actually like one red X-spell of your choice in Funker. It's a deck that really can get up the colorless mana fast and likes to deal damage in big units.

By Triple S, Paragon of Funker (Sssmwc) on Sunday, May 12, 2002 - 10:27 pm:

Which is better for the X spell? The deck owns Aggro (typically) so Fireball/Earthquake isn't really too necessary. I use Stroke on occasion but it always get SBd out vs control.

By CooberP, the Aura Fracturer of B2Bs (Cooberp) on Sunday, May 12, 2002 - 11:20 pm:

I would go for K-Torch or Fireball, depending on the environment. If you've got a Dragon or something on the board, you can convert that artifact mana into a goldfish a turn faster.
Note that I generally think red X spells are ass. But I like one in Funker.

This deck is really all about memory jar abuse.

You dont need many threats if you can get the jar off and then weld it back. Its not too hard to set up, even against keeper. The 9/10 counters have to focus on things like Will, Ancestral etc. If the jar or tinker can be snuck in its generally scoop time.

The fireball can be used vs aggro for the creature kill mechanic, and to flame down sylvan advocates. The mana production can create large balls of fire quite early.

Oh, about the deck listing order... sorry. That's how it was emailed to me.
