Hmm, you seem to be running only disks for mass destruction. You do not have enough mana acceleration to be able to stop a quick aggro deck. 1 for 1 burn is inefficient of course. Try running other spells that are cheaper and can affect more creatures like: more fire/ice, powder kegs, less urza's rage (what's with this card anyway??? it is bad for t1 - misdirection see?) and of course earthquake (both winnie destruction and damage to your opponent)

Is wheel of fortune better for you than an aggro deck? Do NOT forget you are a CONTROL deck.

Braingeyser is a sorcery so NO. Find an instant for this job. EOT is when you want to play card drawers.

You play with p9 artifacts. Don't you own Ancestral recall? it should be ININININININ...

lets see:

SB
for sligh Blue elemental blast? and a few misdirections

for stompy disks and kegs and earthquake

for replenish stg that messes with the graveyard either tormonds crypt, thran foundry (helps you as well)OR just counter replenish :)

The braingeyser is a must for the mana drain food and the urza's rage is very good vs. most of my matches via. Thawing Glaciers and any late game mana drain can win the game in one shot. Sorry i dont own a recall my bad on not saying so. I will try fault line over earthquake i love the EOT burn in the deck. Wheel works well for the win if my opp. is lower then 10 life i can burn, burn, burn. Also i was wondering on the advange of Blue elemental blast over a hydroblast if any.

oh on the nameing of my post sorry i thought that it whould be 'cool' and the cheez is the burn and the counterspells.

thanx for the help

Please ellaborate as to why you play rage over 2 more incenerate and 2 more fire/ ice?

you have only 2 answers for River Boa once it hits, unless they tap out, hince: additional incinerates...

Honestly I think that even with 4 maindeck disks, morphling is a far superior choice over rainow efreet.

Morphling creates a ground control element that will save you allot of rescources.

That is all for now.

For your consideration:

Flaming Gambit
Instant - XR
Flaming Gambit deals X damage to target player. That player may choose a creature he or she controls and have Flaming Gambit deal that damage to it instead.
Flashback - XRR

It's good only as a strange double Fireball against creatureless.

A strange, instant speed Blaze, you can use at the end of their turn with excess mana, then sits in your grave until you have that inevitable turn where not much is happening and you can do it again at -1. Especially in decks with lots of weenie removal, its really pretty good.

I understand where ur comeing from with the anti-rage thinking but it is a very good card to take care of the crap that hits the board. Plus it can go for the win late game and it can't be countered. A big plus.
I like the Idea of Flaming Gambit i will try some maby in replacment for the rage's.
Plus i like the flashback on it. Also i think that the Flaming Gambit will do wonders with the disk.
I'm need some more mana drain food. Any advice on this?

thanx again please keep it comeing.

oh ya what is the 'worst' matchup for this deck?

By Aforitos, The Bluemage (Aforitos) on Friday, April 12, 2002 - 03:11 am:

anyone who plays counters plays misdirection as well so this is not valid. you will just end up killing yourself. reduce the number of rages if you like it keep 2 the most. and play earthquake or other mass winnie destruction.
