The T1 Mill wont accept posts right now; after you click "Post" you end up at an "Add a Message" screen that says "This is a private posting area..."??
It's not just you, the Mill won't let me post either, and there's nothing in the Sys-Announcements about the T1 section going private. Did I miss somehing here, or am I gonna have to get off my ass and email Rakso about getting ()s?

Yes you will ahve to. Rakso/shadow regularly put the mill with restricted posting on.
Well, part of the problem has been the rash of completely off topic posts/spammers on the mill. On occasion, Rakso finds it necessary to keep randoms away. More often than not, he'll return it to normal within a week or two.
