: You're not the only one puzzled about it. Type 1.5 should be anything that's banned or restricted in t1 is banned in 1.5. That means that Zuran Orb, Copy Artifact, Mishra's Workshop and Candelabra of Tawnos are no longer banned in t1.5 (although the t1.5 banned list at WotC site shows it that way). Ask that question at e***e@s***a.com.
...and get ignored like i do every time i ask that question. it's quite frustrating, since i still feel that 1.5 is the best format for weekly store tournaments. it's the only format where i can play with most of my cards and people who are fairly new to the game can have fun playing (and a chance of winning) too.
by all means, write wizards and the dci. get the point across that we won't accept their [apparent] abandonment of 1.5 and that extended is not an acceptable replacement for 1.5...
