no, chain lightnings are not banned or restricted in type 1.
i'd go up to 60 cards :)
use fewer lands (since you're running a low cc deck)
add card drawing like a wheel of fortune
if you want speed...take out the x spells and add more
instand direct d.
go to 4 incinerates...maybe some disruption as well...
like mox monkies (gorilla shaman)...or even a blood moon...
you'll be screwed if your opponent ever plays a life gaining card...
like an early tower or a zorb
a straight burn deck can beat any deck if it gets a good draw (or if your
opponent gets a crap draw)...but it has a lot of weaknesses. (ie...not able to
handle opponent's threats and inflexible in the sideboard
and too many cards just totally shut the deck down...though you can
always argue that they'll be dead before they get that card i guess :)
: I have made a new burn deck but it's my first, and
: surprisingly unlike what most people will tell you,
: almost noone has a defense for them (from personnal
: experiences, whatever you might find out is different)
: I killedd them in 5-8 turns every time and they were
: stunned. But I was wondering, are chain lightnings
: banned or restricted in a type 1 deck? I wasn't
: sure. So the followings my deck, please post comments
: about it if you have the time.
:
: 20 Mountains(original huh?)
: 4 Lava Bursts
: 4 Chain Lightnings(PLEASE don't be ban'd or restricted)
: 4 Lightning Bolts
: 2 disentegrates
: 2 incintegrates
: 3 fireball
: 1 Power Surge
:
: The Power Surge is a last resort, I figure I will
: have damaged them enough for it to kill them before me.
