Cloister's Trading Card Price ListsThis month's MsotM is Cloister's Trading Card Price Lists. Most Magic 'net veterans have surely heard of this site; who hasn't quoted Cloister's when doing a deal on the newsgroups?? Cloister's has been around for a while... a long while. They have been producing steady, solid price lists since the middle of 1994. Their price lists are an average of the going prices on the magic newsgroups, and is generated weekly (usually on Wednesdays). Overall, its a fairly accurate price list, although occasionally you run across that $10 Island... The graphics and layout of the page is minimal at best; the purpose for Cloister's was not to be eye candy, but to provide a distribution point for the price lists. And this it does wonderfully. Many people take Cloister's for granted, and we thought it was due time that they received some thanks for their years of work. Next time you drop by to download the latest price list, drop them a thank-you note!!
