Kobolds Ahoy! ***For those who don't know, there are 3 types of Kobold: Crookshank Kobold, Kobolds of Kher Keep and Crimson Kobolds. All of them are 0/1 red creatures that cost 0 to play*** This deck is quite easy to play, but the construction may give a newer player a problem (Relies on lots of Legends cards). Bring out some Kobolds early on to stop threatening ground attacks (Like maybe a first-turn Balduvian Horde, but don't waste a Kobold on a Llanowar Elf). Be prepared to forfiet a few Kobolds and take some damage! There are plenty to spare. For a small sum of mana, you can bring out the Kobold Leaders.
These should provide a nice boost to your Kobolds, making them a relentless barrage of annoyance and pain for your foe. The toughest part of this deck is probably acquiring the Kobold Leaders. Not very expensive ($8-$15 at guide) but not heavilly traded. I reccomend trading over the 'net if you'd like to make this deck, because I have only met 2 other people who have the Leaders. The Overlords are probably the hardest to find, but luckily, with some modifications to the deck, not terribly important. So without further ado, I bring you the deck list. Just note that this is the deck I PLAY WITH. I also list cards that weren't a part of the initial deck design, but an afterthought of cards I don't have.
Afterthoughts Overall, I'd say that Kobold decks are underrated. The best way to win is to plan an attack with a nicely pumped-up horde and before the attack, cast Song of Blood and hopefully hit at least 2 creatures in the 4-card loss. Two successful Songs of Blood will make a quite formidable horde of disguntled 0/1s gone bad. If played correctly, this deck can win very early on. Happy Kobold-ing!
