by Christopher Askwith Goodness, Gracious, Great Balls of Fire! For some preamble, this deck does not have any Tempest in it. I'm a little behind in my magazine purchasing and haven't been to a card shop for months. Bear with me, please, those of you impatient types. Now, this deck is not a T2 deck. It can function in a T1 tournament, but its preferred environment is not the home of the Time Walk and the Mind Twist. It is probably better off in an environment of players who started roughly in the days of Fourth Edition, early in Fourth Edition, when Revised artifacts were still fairly easy to find. It is, as has already been revealed, a burn deck. It has three main areas in which particular emphasis is applied: Quick damaging spells, X-damage spells, and mucho mana. These are simple themes, and in a house rules environment, it can be very successful. Now, if you plan on entering with a deck like this, add in and take out what you must to either make it legal for T2 or make it truly playable in T1.
