After the fall of the Power Void Beyond Dominia went through a period
of reformation. Cymrych vowed to govern against any potential war
hungry warlords bent on conquest. Darkmage, a former general under
Black Lotus rose to great a large imposing guild known as the Shadows.
Wary of the Shadows becoming another Power Void, Cymrych placed a spy
amongst their ranks. When the Shadows discovered this they were livid.
The immediately launched a war on Cymrych. A great battle took place
between these 2 juggernaughts, but the outcome is sketchy at best.
Apparently, the battle ended in a draw when "unlawful" tactics were
used.
Beyond Dominia entered a Dark Age, a period of disillusionment. Guilds
become nothing more than militias out to earn a name for themselves.
When suddenly out of the ashes of this once beautiful land rose a mighty
respectable guild: Fenstek. Based on the powers of red magic and led
by the former Shadow, Leshrac and his right hand man, Skeeve. They
rallied together and formed a large following that dwarfed all other
guilds.
Another would be dictator arrived on the scene, Vanceril, the self
proffessed Troll King. His goal was clear and simple, he wanted to end
the so called oppression" that he claimed humans placed on all Trolls.
He began his conquest by capturing a small nearly unoccupied castle
known as Limwral on the outskirts of Shahrazad. Under the newly found
shelter of this stronghold they freely launched threats of destruction
at Beyond Dominia. During the night a nearby army lead by Coag the
Mighty launched an attack on Limwral in the middle of the night, it was
a large bloody battle lead by Coag's sentinel Kalanthrea as he battled
Vanceril's right hand Trolls Qrap and Sir Drowyek. During the battle
Coag cast a fire spell which little trolls and humans alike on fire like
candles. In response to this Vanceril had his trolls tear down the
castle's flood gates and cause a massive flood with allowed the trolls
to gain the advantage (trolls are semi-aquatic you know). In order to
end the whole mess Coag cast an Abyss in the center of the castle,
presumably destroying it. Later the trolls returnes with a wizard and
forced him to disenchant the Abyss, then they devoured him. Coag
launched a second attack this time he attempted to take out all the
trolls at once with a nevinrraly's disk, unfourtanely, he saw a major
flaw in his plan when the trolls all regenerated from the blast and
chased him away. Coag launched his third and final attack, this time
he brought along 2 proficient minions, Behemoth and Shadow, that tore
into the trolls mercilessly. The trolls where than rescued by a
mysterious planeswalker who repeated Coag's usage of a Nevinyrral's disk
to regain the advantage and then teleport him and his trolls away.
Later Coag sensed a presence, it was Kay-Ti, the "Elf Girl", in Beyond
Dominia and she was somehow related with the troll invasion. Coag did
the only thing he thought he could do: he released --- the embodiment
of hatred to save Beyond Dominia from her possible threat. --- came to
Vanceril why he was alone and offered a proposition. He would trade
Vanceril Coag for Kay-Ti. Vanceril wanted to kill Coag more than
anything else on earth, so he arranged the trade. Word of the trade
leaked and the mysterious planeswalker turned out to be none other than
Cup. Cup turned Drowyek and Qrap against Vanceril and they left him for
dead. As it turns out, Cup had rallied the trolls together for his own
purposes, namingly acquiring and protecting Kay-Ti.
Meanwhile....Vanceril had inspired the Kobold Guild to take action
against the humans. The Kobolds started with Cymrych they launched
massive attacks on Cymrych's fortress, causing more damage to this
seemingly dyeing guild.
When Cup returned as the head of the "Troll Dynasty" he saw something
that worried him: Fenstek. They reminded him of the Power Void, this
fear may or may not have been rational and probably cause mainly by the
fact that the house of Fenstek was incredibly huge. Cup won support
from Cymrych who also saw Fenstek as a threat, Ped had allegedly heard
some threats from Skeeve about conquering Beyond Dominia.
Unfortunately, the damage Cymrych had received from the Kobold Guild
prohibited them from attacking Fenstek.
Cup soon received problems of his own, --- used his vast influence to
get the Kobolds, who still had a vendetta against Cup, to storm Deep
Shadow and take Kay-Ti hostage. Cup challenged --- for control of
Kay-Ti, Cup's thoughts were to jumbled to concentrate on a duel, he fell
quickly.
But he had already begun his unfinished war with Fenstek. Cup was to preoccupied with retrieving Elf Girl, so he sent an "old friend" by the name of Ozymanthius after Leshrac. Leshrac represented Fenstek well and won the battle with the help of the fabled red spell "Final Fortune".
