Untap, Upkeep, Draw!!
Hello, and welcome to the September 97 issue of Beyond Dominia! Here's the monthly report of what's been happening in Beyond Dominia, and more on what's to come... but first...
Congratulations Justin!
All of us here at Beyond Dominia would like to take a minute to congratulate Justin Gary for winning the US National Championships!! Some of you know that Justin is a contributor to Beyond Dominia, though he hasn't had that much time to write recently. We hope that he would still be able to keep writing for us... ;)
A picture of him and the three other top finishers can be seen here.
The BD Month in Review
August brought a few significant changes to BD... the expansion of the Deck Mill, and the temporary closing of the Trading Posts. The Deck Mill had been getting incredibly busy recently, thus forcing the creation of two new Deck Mills, the Type I Deck Mill and the Type II Deck Mill. With these new Mills, we hope that everyone will have an easier time with their discussions.
Also, the popular Trading Posts have been temporarily closed, due to a few problems. We are currently investigating to see if we can improve the system. For more information, check out the Trading Post homepage. This page, as well as the Deck Mills and all the other Mills, can be found on the Beyond Dominia Sideboard, located at : www.bdominia.com/side/. If you haven't seen the Sideboard yet, you're missing out on a lot!
Also, concerning last month's Untap, Upkeep, Draw; I received a tremendous response, and unfortunately, I was not able to answer everyone's e-mail. I would like to thank everyone who wrote and offered their services. The good news is that we've found someone to take over both the Resource page and the Question of the Month, so these pages should be operational soon!
This Issue...
If you've already browsed through this issue's table of contents, you already probably noticed two things different. The two changes are : (1) There's actually a non-Magic article here, and (2) We've opened up for more contributors again. There's a small explanation at the beginning of Urza's Chron X article, so you might want to read that. I would explain it here, but it's getting really late, and I'm typing up this editorial at the last second...
Hope to see you again, next month!
