by James Greenwell Goulash Howdy magic boys and girls, I'm back from my top secret mission into the wonderful world of college finals! And to celebrate my freedom from the drudgery of college life, I thought I'd share with you my personal type I deck and maybe dispense a little of my unrefined advise. First, let me jump up onto this convieniently placed soapbox. The other day I was discussing the magical mystical art of deckbuilding with a young man at a recent tournament that I attended. In his excitement at a new deck idea we were discussing, he said "and I'll add 4 ____ and 4 ____ and..." I have to admit, He is not the only person to be guilty of the gotta have four disease. It seems that everytime I try to build a new deck I don't have enough room for all the cards I want to put in it. Sound familiar? I thought so. Here's my suggestion. If you want to build a deck use my absolutely, positively not more than three unless its part of a combo rule (or land). Its made my decks more versitile and ALOT more fun to play. It's also helped me build this type I deck which I feel is immensely fun to play (just ask my friends). Enough of my soapbox, and onto my type I deck. By the way I haven't constricted this into type II form but I think with some work it just might work. One more note, if you don't have all the cards don't panic, the point isn't the cards in the deck, but more the theory of deckbuilding behind it. Onto the deck I call "goulash" (it's got a little of everything)
